Gerard Derosiere

PhD, Post-Doctoral Researcher

ibB7zK5s 400x400Gerard joined the CoActions lab as a postdoctoral researcher in November 2014. Since then, he has developed several research projects with the main goal to better understand the role of the motor system in decision-making processes. He was also a visiting researcher in Paul Cisek’s lab (Université de Montréal, Oct-Dec 2015) and in Rich Ivry’s lab (University of Berkeley, July-Oct 2019), where he developed projects on action selection and action planning. Before joining the lab, he completed a joint PhD in Human Movement Science (Oct 2011 - Oct 2014), under the co-supervision of the EuroMov Institute (University of Montpellier) and of the Biomedical Engineering Research Group (National University of Ireland Maynooth), where he investigated the impact of attention deficits on the sensorimotor system.
